I had my follow up health coaching appointment with Ms. Ariana Figueroa in May 2023. She is excellent in every way: building and maintaining trust and rapport, memory of previous sessions and weaving together the big picture, and motivating me to achieve my chosen health goals. Put simply, I am a much healthier human being as a result of my sessions with Ariana.

No more long waits to speak with a nurse, no more waiting in the waiting room, no more deductibles I can never reach, no more waiting for email replies, no more feeling like I work for the doctors office, no more dreading getting sick and being treated according to a set of rules the insurance company decided on to save money, no more huge lab bills, no more waiting on specialty referrals, no more stress when it comes to finding a doctor that genuinely is interested in my wellness and no more traditional "treat the symptom" approach to my health. Dr Cox is an amazing person with a great sense of humor and I can just tell she loves what she does! We are very lucky to have her in Asheville!

I decided to come to IFM because I have long Covid and my previous primary care providers have been dismissive and offered 0 help. I met with Dr. Schirner who was honest and compassionate right off the bat, letting me know that they didn’t know much about long Covid but would do what she could to help. Even though I have insurance, I decided to continue going to IFM because the support is exactly what I needed. I am nowhere near cured, but they offer ways to help manage my symptoms, with the appropriate cautions, or send me to someone else who can help more. My visits have always been quick and easy, the staff is very kind and the office is cozy which is nice for someone who is easily overstimulated, and is right in river arts district so it’s easy to get a coffe or shop around after. I also appreciate the option for virtual appointments when possible.

Great experience! Everyone is friendly, down to earth and helpful! Membership is a great supplementary option, especially if your insurance doesn't cover your day to day and is geared more toward the catastrophic. Online experience is user friendly/works well, and feedback is fast. They have also selected partners for referrals that seem to be likeminded - very friendly and treat their patients with care. The medical world can seem daunting, but not in this case! Highly recommend!

Excellent care! The office staff are super friendly. The process of scheduling and completing medical forms was streamlined and simple. I barely had a chance to sit down before my name was called - no wait. I met with Katey Perry. She was warm, friendly, thorough and knowledgeable. I felt comfortable very comfortable. It is the best experience I have had with a medical office, staff and doctor. Highly recommend!

I am so grateful that I found Integrative Family medicine! Everyone is so kind and welcoming. Liz is what every physician should be. She is so patient, she takes the time to make her patients feel comfortable and heard. The entire practice is place where you as a patient can feel safe, heard and accepted. They truly want to help you be your best self with a healthy body and mind.

My intake visit with Dr. Katey Perry was all I was hoping it would be, and more, honestly. She allowed me all the time I needed to explain why I was there and what I my goals are for improved wellness. I left there having a plan and the proper assessments lined up to identify where I'm at physically, and even emotionally, as she gave me room to discuss personal changes on the horizon. Without any urgent complaints, I didn't really know what to ask for, but I was still validated in wanting to get a baseline of where I'm at as I age and move into another phase of my life and activity. Within the week, several of the referrals had contacted me and a week after bloodwork taken in the IFMA office, we are discussing the results and what they may indicate. My early experience is that IFMA is affordable and the staff are encouraging, professional, real and caring. I am looking forward to a long term relationship with this practice and to explore some of the other services they offer, such as personal training and nutritional support. So glad to have found them!
